Steve, are you aware that there is a book on evangelism through random acts of kindness? I will look it up and add it to these comments.
I found the book in my library at the office.
Steve Sjogren, Conspiracy of Kindness (Ann Arbor: Vine, 1993).
I will lend it to you. One quote: "God's love must be communicated from person to person, not just page to person." p. 27.
It is not a great book, but it does hit upon the importance of random acts of kindness.
