Peak Week Overview

This Blog is being established to allow you to be involved in the development of the instructional material for Peak Week-2005. We are presenting a brief overview of our initial thoughts.

The overall idea began as "Passion and Courage". While studying and exploring we were led to the book of Joshua. This book is a study of God's relationship with his "Chosen People". Colossians 3:12-14 instructs the chosen one's to develop certain characteristics and wrap them in forgiving love such that an overriding unity results. We have therefore, attempted to develop these thoughts into a "dynamic", developing study of a passionate, courageous lifestyle of God's Chosen Ones. We intend to present to each other and our campers as a lifelong process that is ever evolving.

Please peruse these thoughts and allow all of us to be the beneficiary. We will keep this going initially for the next ten days. A compilation will be presented and subsequent interaction will occur.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
